Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm)

B.Pharm – Bachelor of Pharmacy

Duration: 4 Years

Eligibility: Candidates seeking admission to the B.Pharm programme must satisfy the following eligibility requirements:

  • Passed Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) or its equivalent from a recognized board.
  • Must have studied English as one of the subjects.
  • Must have passed with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects.
  • Must have studied Mathematics or Biology (Botany/Zoology) or both as optional subjects.
  • Candidate should have completed 17 years of age on or before 31st December of the year of admission.

B.Pharm – Bachelor of Pharmacy [Lateral Entry]

Duration: 3 Years

Eligibility: Candidates who have passed Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) from an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) under Section 12 of the Pharmacy Act are eligible for direct admission to the Second Year (III Semester) of the B.Pharm Degree Programme, subject to the regulations of The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University and the Government of Tamil Nadu.
